Description Introduction What is BILYPSA 4MG? BILYPSA 4MG contains Saroglitazar which is a dual regulator that corrects both the lipid profile and the glycemic indices What BILYPSA 4MG is used for? It is indicated for the treatment of, Diabetic dyslipidemias Reduction of triglycerides (TG), Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, Very Low-Density Lipoprotein (VLDL) cholesterol, and  an increase in HDL cholesterol. It has also shown favorable glycemic indices by reducing the fasting plasma glucose and glycosylated haemoglobin in diabetic patients Warning & Precautions Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you: Are allergic to saroglitazar or any other ingredients of its medicine Have abnormal liver function Have kidney problems Have history of myopathy Have cardiac disease Pregnancy & Breast Feeding The safety of saroglitazar in pregnant women and breast feeding has not been established as there is no adequate and well controlled study carried out in pregnant women Women who become pregnant, breast feeding during saroglitazar treatment should contact their physicians Children & Adolescents Safety and efficacy of saroglitazar in pediatric patients have not been established Interactions N/A How to Use Always take this medicine as per your doctor’s advice The recommended dose of Saroglitazar is one tablet of 4 mg once a day Swallow this tablet whole with a glass of water If you take more of Saroglitazar If you take more of Saroglitazar, contact your doctor immediately If you forgot to take Saroglitazar Take it as soon as possible.
